15-Year-Old Girl Apologises After Being Booked Over Alleged Abuse of PM Modi During Protest

The girl said, “I am just 15 years old. What I did is unpardonable. I spoke many offensive words.”

In a video message, the teenager sought forgiveness, saying, “I am only 15 years old. Please forgive me,” after a case was registered against her for allegedly using offensive language against Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a protest. The confession surfaced just hours after PM Modi shared an Instagram video advising people to choose limitation and understanding over hostility.

A video circulating on social media shows the girl, who was booked for allegedly using offensive language against Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a student protest, expressing regret over her remarks.

In the widely shared clip, she appears wearing a striped T-shirt, her hands folded, as she apologizes.

The girl confesses in her video that several people influenced her at the protest and, as a result, made several inappropriate comments about the Prime Minister.

Although the FIR states she is 25 years old, the girl claims in the apology video that she is “only 15 years old.”

Describing it as the “first and last mistake” of her life, she adds, “I sincerely apologise to the entire nation. I feel deeply ashamed and cannot even face myself. Please forgive me.”

A complaint against the girl was lodged at a Noida police station on Wednesday over her alleged remarks targeting the Prime Minister. Based on the complaint, the Noida Police registered a Zero FIR and subsequently transferred the case to the Parliament Street Police Station in New Delhi.

According to the complainant, the girl’s statements undermined the dignity of the Prime Minister’s office and had the potential to create social discord and disturb public order.

For this, the Prime Minister conveyed a message that “I want to forgive them. I appeal to society also to accept what I am saying,” he said. “Abuses never solve anything. Let us guide those who have lost their way. Let us work together. Let us work for Bharat.”
