On August 29, a 5.7-magnitude earthquake hit Afghanistan, originating 255 kilometers beneath the Earth’s surface. The videos circulated on social media showed chairs, ceiling fans, and other objects shaking briefly during the tremors. “Major tremors felt in Delhi NCR,” said a user from Bikaner, Rajasthan.
