In a tragic incident, a 12-year-old, 6thgrade student from a Delhi school died mysteriously. The incident occurred at a private school in southwest Delhion Tuesday. According to the police, the victim has been identified as Prince, who resided in Kudumpur Pahari in Vasant Vihar.

The deceased, Prince, 12, studied in 6th grade in a private school in southwest Delhi. The exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained. Upon inspecting his body, it was noted that there weren’t any visible injuries on his body. However, the investigators suspect that he might have died because of a seizure. But, the family has alleged foul play, claiming that Prince was beaten by a classmate.
What happened with Prince?
According to the police, the child’s parents received information from Fortis Hospital in Vasant Kunj at around 9.30 am, stating that Prince had been brought in dead. Upon investigating and inspecting the body, it was noted there weren’t any visible injuries, but some foam-like substance oozed from his mouth, as per a police statement. Initially the doctors suggested that the boy might have suffered from a convulsion-related condition, but an enquiry is currently underway.

Sagar, father of Prince, a sewer line worker in Vasant Vihar Society, stated that his son had no medical history and was completely healthy, when he dropped him off at school. He told PTI, “My son was fit and had no history of seizures. He played football, participating in inter-school tournaments and winning several medals,” and added, “something is fishy about the school’s and police’s explanation.”
The police are interrogating the students and teachers at the school, and necessary legal actions will be taken based on the findings.
