In the Pushpa 2 stampede case, the actor’s home was vandalized by OU JAC protestors on Sunday.
This month, during the premiere of the film Pushpa 2: The Rule, a stampede occurred at Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre, which killed a woman and injured a minor, who is still battling his injuries in a hospital. In protest of the same, OU JAC protestors vandalized Allu Arjun’s home on Sunday over the stampede that happened.
Allu Arjun’s property in Hyderabad was vandalized.
On Sunday evening, tensions rose as Allu Arjun’s Hyderabad property was vandalized. According to Big TV, the protesters held placards and pelted the house in Jubilee Hills with stones and tomatoes. They also broke flower pots and demanded the actor take care of the victim’s family from the Pushpa 2 stampede incident.
Protesters claimed to be OU JAC.
The TV channel reported that the protesters claimed to be OU JAC (Joint Action Committee of Osmania University students) and that Arjun should pay the victim’s family at least ₹1 crore, given that Pushpa 2: The Rule made great money at the box office. One protester told the channel, “We demand that Allu Arjun take care of the late Revathi’s family. Why did so many film personalities visit him when he came out of jail, but none of them cared when a woman died. This is the time for them to stand behind Revathi’s family and be there for Sri Teja. We will not let you go anywhere if these demands aren’t met.”
It is unknown if the actor was at home when the attack happened. His staff took his children, Arha and Ayaan, to their maternal uncle’s home. According to Live Hindustan, police arrived at the scene and arrested eight.
