During India’s match against Pakistan A in the Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025 in Doha on Sunday, teen cricketing sensation VaibhavSuryavanshi reacted strongly to Pakistan’s pacer Ubaid Shah after the latter tried to provoke him. The left-handed batter, who was fresh from a 144-run knock off 42 balls against the UAE, made his intentions clear as he hit a boundary off the first ball of the game against Pakistan. There was constant back-and-forth chatter between Suryavanshi and Ubaid Shah, with neither willing to back down. Whenever Suryavanshi failed to connect, Shah stared, seemingly mocking the youngster. However, in the third over of the game, Suryavanshi gave it back and asked Shah to focus on his bowling.
What did VaibhavSuryavanshi say to Ubai Shah?
Reacting strongly to the mocking of Ubaid Shah on-field, VaibhavSuryavanshi said, as heard on the stump mic, “Ball daalna, ball daal” (Bowl the ball, just bowl the ball). On the next delivery, Suryavanshi then connected a boundary and was awarded a four for his effort. After hitting the boundary, the left-hander went up to his opening partner. The Pakistan bowler was unable to say anything as Suryavanshi ended up having the last laugh.
