The viral video shows a man, who has been lightning up social media with his dance moves, celebrating his release from Kannauj jail in Uttar Pradesh. The man was released after serving additional time after he failed to pay a fine of ₹1,000. An NDTV report said that the incident occurred in Kannauj. In the now viral video, the man can be seen freestyling dance moves outside the jail building, wearing a colourful t-shirt and light blue jeans. The video shared on X by @News1IndiaTweet captures a few jail officials standing beside him and watching him perform.

The man after serving nine months in jail celebrated his release by breaking into dance.

The video that was widely shared on X had a Hindi caption that translates to, “As soon as the prisoner was released from the district jail, he danced at the gate, and the jail staff applauded him. He was in jail for 9 months. He could not be released due to his inability to pay the fine of Rs 1,000.”
