Bollywood icon finds love again at 61 with longtime friend.

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has officially tied the knot with Gauri Spratt in a private wedding held at his Bandra residence in Mumbai on July 5, 2026. The ceremony was a warm, family‑centered affair, attended by close relatives and friends, with about 150 guests present.

The couple’s journey has been a long one. Khan and Spratt first met 25 years ago, but their relationship blossomed only two years ago. On June 4, the actor confirmed his plans to marry, describing the upcoming celebration as “gharelu” – a homely, intimate event. True to his words, the wedding reflected simplicity and closeness, with both families and their children present.

Aamir’s three children- Junaid, Ira, and Azad joined in the festivities, while Gauri’s six‑year‑old son also attended. The actor’s PR team later shared the first official photograph of the newlyweds, accompanied by a caption celebrating “love, laughter, and cherished moments.”

Gauri Spratt, originally from Bengaluru, comes from a creative background. She studied fashion styling and photography at the University of the Arts London and currently manages a BBlunt salon in Mumbai. Her mother, Rita Spratt, was well known in Bengaluru for running a popular salon.

This marks Khan’s third marriage. He was previously married to Reena Dutta, with whom he shares Junaid and Ira, and later to filmmaker Kiran Rao, with whom he co‑parents Azad. Despite past separations, Khan has often spoken about maintaining strong, respectful relationships with his former partners.

Speaking to the media ahead of the wedding, Khan emphasized the significance of the day: “It is a very special occasion for us. We need everyone’s blessings and hope for a wonderful journey ahead.”

The actor has also been candid about finding love later in life. At 60, he admitted he had not expected to meet someone who could bring calm and steadiness to his world. “She’s an amazing person, and I feel very fortunate,” he said, acknowledging the role his past relationships and now Gauri have played in shaping him.

Over the past year, Khan and Spratt have made several public appearances together, including at the Macau International Comedy Festival. Their marriage marks a new chapter for the actor, who continues to balance his personal happiness with his enduring presence in Indian cinema.
