Akshay Kumar opens up about non-payment of due by producers

Akshay Kumar, who awaits the release of his upcoming film “Khel Khel Mein,” recalls being financially “cheated” in his career.

Akshay Kumar’s latest film, “Sarfira,” was released on July 12. It features him, Radhika Madan, and Paresh Rawal. The actor was busy promoting his film, and during a chat with entrepreneur Ghazal Alagh on “Sarfiri Baatein,” he was asked, “Has anybody in your business cheated you?” to which the actor went on to narrate how he was cheated.

Akshay Kumar says he was financially “cheated” by producers.

Talking to entrepreneur Ghazal Alag, Akshay Kumar, on asking if he ever he was cheated in the industry, said without taking names, “This is something we have in common. Main uske baad main usse baat hi nahin karta, chup ho jaata hoon apna side mein nikal jaata hoon… ek do producers ki payment nahin aati hain and that is cheating only… (I just don’t talk to that person who cheats me. I go quiet.. it has happened to me. A few producers haven’t cleared my dues).”

Recently, Akshay Kumar also revealed the release date of his forthcoming movie Khel Khel Mein, which is on Independence Day, August 15. The film has an ensemble cast. However, there are reports that the film will clash with John Abraham-Sharvari Wagh’s Vedaa and Rajkummar Rao-Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2 at the box office.

Besides this, Khiladi Kumar is also gearing up for Singham Again, which may be released in November this year. Also this year, he will be seen in Sky Force alongside Suniel Shetty, Nimrat Kaur, and Sara Ali Khan.
