According to sources who have confirmed the news, Akshay Kumar will be joining hands with director Priyadarshan for the much-awaited Hera Pheri 3. It will feature the OG cast – Akshay, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty. Director Priyadarshan announced the same on Instagram via a story on January 30, his birthday. Thanking Akshay for wishing him, the veteran filmmaker wrote, “Thank you so much for your wishes @akshaykumar. In return, I would like to give you a gift. I’m willing to do Hera Pheri 3. Are you ready, Akshay, @suniel.shetty & @pareshrawalofficial”

Speaking to HT City, the actor confirmed that he will be reuniting with filmmaker Priyadarshan for Hera Pheri 3. The actor said, “Priyan sir has given all of us a fabulous surprise by offering to direct Hera Pheri 3. What a fabulous start to 2025.”
