Alia Bhatt drops her first look from her upcoming film “Jigra”

She shared a new poster of the film, which co-stars Vedang Raina.

Last year in September, Alia Bhatt announced her next film, Jigra. Now, she has surprised fans and audiences by posting a new poster and her first look from the movie on Instagram. Jigra is slated to release on October 11 and is directed by Vasan Bala.

Alia Bhatt looked bedazzled at something in the distance in the new intense poster shared that finally gave a proper glimpse of her look in the film. She wore a pair of dark pants with a solid shirt and a survival vest. She carried a hammer and other tools in her hands. Sharing the poster, Alia captioned it, “Kahaani bahut lambi hai aur bhai ke paas waqt bahut bahut kam (The story is too long, but the time my brother has, too less).” She also posted Vedang’s new poster on Instagram, where she wrote, “Tu mere protection mein hai (You are under my protection).”

Fans eagerly wait for the Jigra teaser.

A social media user wrote, “Wow, another poster!! It’s just wow!! Now waiting for the teaser…” Another wrote, “Wow, simply fantastic Alia… cannot wait.” Actor Janhvi Kapoor dropped a bunch of fire emojis in the comments.

Alia Bhatt wrapped the film in February 2024 and shared pictures from the set, made under Dharma Productions and her own production house, Eternal Sunshine Productions. Last year, the film’s announcement video teased a story about a sister’s love for her brother and how far she can go to protect him. It was supposed to be released on September 27, but now it will be released in theatres on October 11, 2024.
