Due to massive rains in Jammu and Kashmir, the Amarnath Yatra had to be called off, halting the annual pilgrimage.
A few days ago, on July 17, the annual Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage was halted due to adverse weather conditions. Again, the decision to call it off has been taken due to massive rains lashing Jammu and Kashmir. Also, no convoy movement is allowed towards base camps Baltal and Nunwan from Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu, said the divisional commissioner.
