BCCI announces new date for India vs Sri Lanka series

T20I series between India and Sri Lanka will now begin on July 27.

Earlier, it was reported that India would play against Sri Lanka in an upcoming T20I series starting July 26. However, BCCI has now announced a new date for the same – July 27, 2024. Changes in the schedule have been made to the limited-overs series between the two cricket teams.

BCCI confirms changes to the T20I series with Sri Lanka.

Recently, BCCI confirmed changes to the limited-overs series against Sri Lanka. The series will now begin on July 27 instead of July 26, with the first T20I taking place in Pallekele. Pallekele will host all three T20Is, with the second match scheduled for the following day.

Changes in the ODI dates as well.

BCCI has also changed the ODI dates. Originally, the ODI was set to begin on August 1. It has now been postponed by one day and will start on August 2. The second and third ODIs will be held on August 4 and 7, respectively.
