At the trailer launch of The Royals, the actress turned heads, bringing back the fashion of the 2000s.

Recently, the Netflix series The Royals launched a trailer, which saw the cast walk the ramp as their characters in the show. Bhumi Pednekar stunned everyone with her gown and dupatta look, bringing back the charm of 2000s fashion.

Bhumi Pednekar looked gorgeous in a gown with a dupatta look.

Bhumi Pednekar adorned the latest look at the trailer launch of Netflix’s The Royals, where the actress rocked a ‘gown with a dupatta’ look. This look reminded the internet of the 2000s and 90s fashion that once was beautifully demonstrated by pageant queens like Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta, among others. It looked like Bhumi took a leaf from their books and aced the graceful look. Popular Instagram page Diet Sabya noticed the similarity and wrote, “Bhumi Jenner is bringing the dupatta with gown back for the girlies…Not for everyone, pls don’t try it.” A few Instagram users found Bhumi’s look similar to Marilyn Monroe; others wrote it was identical to Lara, Priyanka, and even Rani Jeyraj at Miss World 1996.

More on Bhumi Pednekar’s look.

She wore an ivory silk gown featuring a plunging neckline, a corseted bodice, a strapless silhouette, a back slit, a figure-hugging silhouette and a floor-length hem. She completed the look by draping a floor-length silk dupatta on her arms. She accessorized the ensemble with pointed silk pumps, diamond rings and earrings, a choker necklace adorned with diamonds and accentuated with bird ornaments. For the glam, she chose feathered brows, mascara-adorned lashes, pink eye shadow, winged eyeliner, glowing highlighter, flushed cheeks and mauve pink lips.

The Royals will premiere on Netflix on May 9. It stars Ishaan Khatter, Bhumi Pednekar, Zeenat Aman, Nora Fatehi, Dino Morea, and Sakshi Tanwar.
