Air India Express flight from Dubai carrying 189 passengers landed in Jaipur amidst the bomb threat.
On Saturday, an Air India Express flight IX-196 departing from Dubai to Jaipur with 189 passengers onboard received a bomb threat via email at 12.45 am. The Indian Express flight landed at the Jaipur International Airport at 1.20 am, as told by Jaipur Airport Police SHO Sandeep Basera.

189 passengers were onboard Air India Express flight IX-196 flying from Dubai to Jaipur that received a bomb threat via email at 12.45 am on Saturday. The airplane landed at the Jaipur International Airport at 1.20 am. After a thorough check by the security forces, nothing suspicious was found, news agency ANI quoted the police officer as saying. A pattern of domestic airlines receiving bomb threats has been noticed, which has continued for a sixth day on Saturday. As per reports, the authorities suspended or blocked about 10 social media handles for posting threats.
Vistara flight diverted to Frankfurt from Delhi.
Amidst a bomb threat on Air India Express flight, a London-bound Vistara flight from Delhi was diverted to Frankfurt on Friday following a bomb threat. In a statement early Saturday morning, an airline spokesperson said that the flight safely landed at the Frankfurt airport and mandatory checks are being conducted. The spokesperson said, “Vistara flight UK17, operating from Delhi to London on October 18, 2024, received a security threat on social media. In line with the protocol, all relevant authorities were immediately informed, and as a precautionary measure, the pilots decided to divert the flight to Frankfurt.” Akasa Air flight QP 1366 on Friday, scheduled to fly from Bengaluru to Mumbai, received a security alert shortly before departure.
Four Air India Express flights, two Vistara flights, and one IndiGo flight received threats on Thursday. Air India said “a number of” their flights received a hoax bomb threat, but it didn’t specify the number.
