Kannada superstar Yash has made it clear that his upcoming film Toxic is not meant for younger audiences. The trailer already hints at heavy doses of action, violence, and intimate sequences, and Yash has now firmly stated that children should avoid watching it. According to him, the film has been crafted for adults who can make their own choices about what they want to see and learn from cinema.

Speaking on Rajat Sharma’s Aap Ki Adalat, Yash explained that the movie carries a strong narrative but is unsuitable for kids. “Children should not watch this film. They should stay at home. It has not been made for children, and that is very clear. Adults know right from wrong. They can choose what they want to see, what they want to learn from the film, and what they don’t want to do in life,” he said.

The actor stressed that while the trailer reveals glimpses of intense scenes, it does not capture the full depth of the story. He believes the film’s essence lies in its honesty and layered character development. Yash, who plays a double role, pointed out that every aspect of his character must be shown authentically for the narrative to resonate.

Adding to the clarity, Yash highlighted the film’s tagline, “A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups.” He noted that this phrase has been part of the project since its inception and serves as a straightforward signal that the movie is designed for mature audiences.

Despite some criticism over the film’s bold content, Yash defended its intent, saying that Toxic is not just about spectacle but about telling a genuine story. He emphasized that the film explores themes that require a certain level of maturity to understand and interpret.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic boasts a star-studded cast including Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, and Rukmini Vasanth. With Yash in a challenging double role, the film promises to deliver a gripping narrative that blends intensity with emotional depth.
