Coldplay was in Mumbai for an electrifying performance. Besides winning the hearts of audiences during the concert, Chris Martin mentioned the history of pre-independence between India and Britain. After a nine-year wait, the British rock band that returned to India gave a smashing performance in Mumbai. The first leg of Coldplay’s “Music of the Spheres” tour kicked off at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai over the weekend.” The lead singer apologised to Indian fans on Sunday for “forgiving bad things Britishers did.”

During an electrifying performance, the singer mentioned the history of pre-independence between India and Britain. He said in the viral video, “This is our fourth visit to India and the second time to play. First time we played a long show and we could not have asked for a better audience. Thank you for coming today, everybody.” He added, “It is amazing to us that you welcome us even though we are from Great Britain. Thank you for forgiving us for all of the bad things that Great Britain has done.”
