Rakhi shared her thoughts on Ranveer Singh and Don 3’s dispute during an interaction with the media.
Ranveer Singh, Farhan Akhtar, and Excel Entertainment have made headlines recently, not for all the right reasons. Farhan, who was supposed to direct Don 3 with Ranveer Singh, reportedly lost ₹45 crores when Ranveer walked out of the project just a few days before the shoot was to start, according to Farhan. This led to Ranveer receiving a non-cooperation directive from the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE).RakhiSawant recently reacted to the same while interacting with the paparazzi.

Speaking to photographers during a public outing, Rakhi expressed anger over the directive reportedly issued by FWICE against Ranveer. She said the actor had earned his place in the industry through hard work and dedication. Rakhi claimed that many people were targeting Ranveer simply because of his growing popularity and successful film career. She also praised both Ranveer Singh and DeepikaPadukone for building their careers independently without industry backing. In her emotional reaction, Rakhi even brought up Salman Khan, saying those criticising Ranveer would not dare take similar action against bigger stars. Her fiery remarks quickly grabbed attention online, with videos from the interaction going viral across social media platforms.

Rakhi also appeared to target filmmaker and actor Farhan Akhtar while speaking about the controversy. According to her, Farhan was trying to stay in the spotlight by dragging Ranveer’s name into the issue. She alleged that Ranveer’s success and back-to-back hits had made some people in the industry insecure. Rakhi further suggested that the controversy was being amplified unnecessarily for publicity. As expected, her comments triggered mixed reactions online. While some fans supported her stance on Ranveer, others found her statements too aggressive and dramatic.
Last month, Farhan Akhtar reportedly approached FWICE, claiming that Ranveer’s sudden exit from the project caused financial losses of nearly ₹45 crore to the production. Following the controversy, Ranveer Singh’s spokesperson released an official statement addressing the matter. The statement said that the actor has immense respect for the film fraternity and everyone associated with the Don franchise. It further stated that Ranveer chose to remain silent throughout the developments because he believes professional matters should be handled with dignity and mutual respect.
