Tanushree Dutta recently spoke about how she and Emraan’s chemistry is like “brother-sister” in “Aashiq Banaya Aapne.”
Emraan Hashmi and Tanushree Dutta starred in a 2005 film titled Aashiq Banaya Aapne, which had some steamy scenes of both together. However, after almost two decades, Tanushree Dutta called her chemistry with Emraan only “brotherly.” On the other hand, Emraan Hashmi, known for never mincing words during media and fan interaction, has reacted.
Emraan Hashmi spoke on Tanushree Dutta’s “brotherly” comment.
During a recent interview with ScoopWhoop, Emraan Hashmi was asked about the 2005 romantic thriller Aashiq Banaya Aapne and how it impacted an entire generation. He said, “Did you hear Tanushree’s quote three weeks ago? I don’t know if it was a verbatim quote or what. She said that it was like ‘brotherly.’ He further said, “What did the director tell her, and what did he tell me?’ I had another narrative going on my head and she had another narrative going in her head. I was never told the story about incest. I don’t know what she was thinking, but fine.”
Aashiq Banaya Aapne’s title track had steamy scenes between the two actors.
The romantic-thriller film had intimate lovemaking scenes, and so did its title track. In an interview with Filmygyan, Tanushree Dutta recently spoke on being judged for on-screen chemistry and opining on her chemistry with Emraan; she said, “The biggest and top-most actresses have done kissing, lovemaking scenes. Unko koi kuch nahi bolta. Mujhse sabkodikkat ho jati hai. Main short-skirt pehenu ya koi aisa scene kar du. Acting hai, bhai. Usmein mera aur Emraan ka kuchpersonal tha nahi. (No one says anything to them. But when I wear a short skirt or do a scene like that, everyone has an issue. It’s just acting. There was nothing personal between me and Emraan in it). Mine and Emraan’s chemistry is like brother-sister. Literally.”
