All his fans and audiences eagerly awaited his return to the cinema. The wait is finally over with Fardeen Khan making his Bollywood big-screen comeback with Khel Khel Mein, slated to release on Independence Day, August 15. Though he made a comeback with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Heeramandi” on Netflix, Khel Khel Mein will mark his comeback on the big screens.

Fardeen Khan was featured recently in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Heeramandi” on Netflix. However, he is all set to make his comeback on the big screen after 14 long years with Akshay Kumar-starrer Khel Khel Mein on Independence Day, August 15. Excited and emotional about his comeback, Khan took to his Instagram to share a note with his fans.

What did Fardeen Khan share on Instagram about his comeback?

He shared a video of himself and the other stars of the film Khel Khel Mein, including Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu,Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, and Pragya Jaiswal. He shared, “I’m absolutely thrilled to share the trailer for “Khel Khel Mein” with all of you! This moment is incredibly special and deeply emotional for me as it marks my first theatrical release in 14 years. Returning to the big screen has been a journey filled with nostalgia, excitement, and gratitude.” Sharing gratitude in his post, he said, “To my family, friends, and fans—your unwavering support over the years has been my strength. This return wouldn’t have been possible without your love and encouragement. I hope Khel Khel Mein resonates with you and brings as much joy to your hearts as it has to ours.”

Khel Khel Mein is directed by Mudassar Aziz, who last directed Fardeen in the 2010 film Dulha Mil Gaya. Fardeen Khan also mentioned this coincidence and expressed his gratitude.
