Gang shooter of Lawrence Bishnoi arrested: Mumbai police arrest him in Salman Khan house firing case

As per a report, Lawrence Bishnoi gang shooter Sukkha is arrested by Mumbai police from Panipat Sector 29 with assistance from local police.

The latest reports suggest that the Mumbai police have arrested Sukkha, the gang shooter of Lawrence Bishnoi from Panipat Sector 29, with the help of local police. The Navi Mumbai police arrested him in Haryana’s Panipat in connection with the firing incident outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s Bandra residence, reported news agency IANS.

Sukkha, a shooter from Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang, was arrested in Haryana’s Panipat by the Navi Mumbai police in connection with the firing that happened outside the house of Bollywood actor Salman Khan. The Mumbai police have arrested him from Panipat Sector 29 with the assistance of the local police. The gang shooter is the residence of Rail Kalan village and is accused in the Salman Khan house firing case. On Thursday, he will be produced before a court after being brought to Navi Mumbai, said the police. In June, police claimed to have uncovered a plot to target Salman Khan on his way to his farmhouse near Panvel in Navi Mumbai. In April 2024, the firing happened outside his residence.

Earlier this year, the actor had told police that he believed the Lawrence Bishnoi gang was behind the firing at his residence with the intention to kill him and his family members, news agency ANI reported. His statement is part of the charge sheet filed by the Mumbai police in a court here in connection with the incident. The actor noted that two unidentified persons tried trespassing into his farmhouse near Panvel using fake identities in January 2024.

Salman Khan told the police that a threat letter was found on a bench opposite his building in 2022, and in March 2023, they received an email threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
