Hera Pheri 3 controversy: Akshay Kumar defends co-actor Paresh Rawal

At the Housefull 5 trailer launch, Akshay backed Paresh Rawal when asked about the latter leaving the film.

Akshay Kumar was recently present at the trailer launch of his upcoming film Housefull 5. During the event, Akshay called Paresh his friend, reacting to his ouster from the film Hera Pheri 3.

The controversy surrounding Paresh Rawal’s departure from Hera Pheri 3 has been at the top of the headlines for quite a few days. Paresh’s exit from Hera Pheri 3 midway has created quite a stir, with even Akshay taking him to the court. Recently, Akshay addressed the issue at the trailer launch of Housefull 5. Reacting to how the fans have been disappointed in Paresh and have called him out, Akshay jumped to his co-star’s defence. He said, “I have been working with Paresh Rawal for over 30 years and have done an array of films with him as well. I really admire him, and I consider him to be a friend.”

Akshay said it is a legal matter.

The actor stated that whatever has happened and whatever the issue may be, it is now a legal matter. He concluded, “This is a court matter, and whatever happens, this matter of Hera Pheri 3 will be handled in court. But yes, Paresh Rawal is my friend, and I admire him a lot.”

Akshay Kumar is co-producing Hera Pheri 3 and also acting in it. He has filed a case against Paresh Rawal for his ‘unprofessional’ behaviour of exiting the film midway.
