Smriti Mandhana scored a massive 90 off 83 balls as India went past the target of 216 without exerting themselves much to win the third and final ODI by six wickets in Bengaluru against South Africa.

Mandhana, whose innings came off 83 balls, made a total of 90. She gained support from Shaifali Verma (25), Priya Punia (28) and Harmanpreet Kaur(42, 48b, 2×4). They went past the target of 216 without exerting themselves much. India had made 220 for four in 40.4 overs after South Africa was restricted to an underwhelming score of 215 for eight wickets despite a solid score of 61 by skipper Laura Wolvaardt.

The pitch was smoothed out during the chase, and South Africa’s bowling was not threatening at all, giving the India vice-captain enough time to win the game without any pressure.
