SRH Chases 166 Runs At A Lightning Fast Pace

Sunrisers Hyderabad totally crushed Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. SRH bowled really well, only allowing LSG to score 165 runs and taking 4 wickets in 20 overs. Then, when it was their turn to bat, SRH easily chased down the target in just 9.4 overs. Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma were the heroes of the match, with Head scoring 89 runs and Abhishek adding 75 runs without losing a single wicket. It was a super impressive win for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

LSG won the toss and chose to bat

LSG was left bamboozeled by Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the first power play. LSG gave off two wickets for 27 runs.

KL Rahul and Krunal Pandya played well in a partnership until Cummins came into play. Cummins took wicket of both the batters and piled the pressure on the visitors.

But after that came Badoni and Pooran as both played through a rough period but managed to muster up a  99-run partnership within 9 overs. Both ended their innings with scores of 55* and 48* respectively and took LSG to a total of 165 runs.
