Sending a message, now I want to live a life that I missed in the past years.

The music director took to Instagram and wrote a message for his millions of fans, and Pritam penned, “Thank you for all the wishes. Can’t answer everybody individually, but please accept my sincere gratitude. Today, I have decided to gift myself a few years to live life differently. To catch up on what I’ve missed.” This note leaves the fans in shock, after Arijit now you!

The director wants to set off on his new journey. Success and popularity demand a lot of sacrifices to reach the highest level of success and gain the love of millions of people for more than two decades. Pritam achieved this with his constant creativity and uniqueness in his music craft.

His music in films like Jab We Met (2007) and Barfi! (2012), Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013), Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016), and Dangal (2016) are still loved and heard most. He won his first National Film Award for music direction in Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva. Last year, he earned praise for his work in Metro… In Dino. His most recent music composition is in the film Cocktail 2.
