Jigra trailer is out. Fans can’t stop gushing about the action-heroine look of Alia Bhatt in the film. She plays the character “Satya” who is on her way to save her brother “Ankur,” played by Vedang Raina in the film. The project is helmed by Vasan Bala and produced by Alia Bhatt and Dharma Productions.

On its YouTube channel, Dharma Productions shared a three-minute video featuring Alia Bhatt in an action heroine avatar.

The trailer begins with Satya (Alia) receiving a call from her brother Ankur (Vedang). She asks him a few questions and tells him not to worry. In the next scene, Ankur is seen in the court, where the judge orders his “death by electrocution in three months.” Satya then asks her friend if her brother will be allowed to meet her in a life-and-death situation as she is seen holding a knife to her wrists.

The trailer continues with Alia Bhatt as Satya fighting people, jumping from trees, and eating hungrily while traveling by air. On top of a vehicle, she is also seen with weapons in her hand. On the other hand, her brother Ankur is seen hitting a person and being strip-searched by the police. He even beat up the cops, followed by several action scenes. Satya is seen as emotional when she finally meets her brother in jail. The video ends with Satya saying, “I never said I’m an ethical person. I’m only Ankur’s sister.”

Alia Bhatt shared the trailer on Instagram and captioned it, “All set? #JIGRA THEATRICAL TRAILER OUT NOW! Link in bio. See you in cinemas, 11th October.”
