Taking to Instagram on June 21, the fitness queen shared a heartfelt note about how yoga changed from a simple workout routine into a way of life. She also shared a few glimpses of her yoga practice and opened up about the lessons the discipline continues to teach her.
Malaika says yoga is part of her life; it’s not just a workout for her. For her, it’s the best way to reconnect, reset, and find balance. Malaika shares some asanas that she follows daily. Ustrasana (Camel Pose), Halasana (Plow Pose), Anjaneyasana (Low Lunge Pose), Ardha Kapotasana (Half Pigeon Pose), Virabhadrasana II (Warrior II Pose), Sarvangasana (Shoulder Stand). She practices all asanas to keep herself healthy, fit, and happy at any age.
