On Wednesday, before Lalbaugcha Raja’s immersion, the massive gold mukut that Bappa adorned, gifted by Anant Ambani, was dismantled on Ganesh Visarjan. A video of the dismantling surfaced on the internet. The gold mukut is worth ₹15 crore and weighs 20kg.

The iconic Lord Ganesh idol in Mumbai, Lalbaugcha Raja, was immersed in the Arabian Sea off the Girgaon beach in South Mumbai on Wednesday morning. Thousands of devotees flocked to see Bappa’s Visarjan. Among them was Anant Ambani, who bid farewell to the iconic idol.
