Salim Khan, Bollywood’s legendary screenwriter and actor, and father of Salman Khan, has been hospitalised at the Lilavati Hospital in Bandra, Mumbai. The veteran writer was admitted to the hospital, sparking concerns among fans and the film fraternity.

The reason behind Salim Khan’s hospitalisation has not been revealed yet, and further details about his condition remain undisclosed. The veteran screenwriter was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, and his son, superstar Salman Khan, along with other family members, were seen visiting him to be by his side at the hospital. On Tuesday, PTI reported that Salim Khan has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital, stating that he is “currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.”

After Salim Khan’s hospitalisation, family members, including Salman Khan, daughter Alvira Khan Agnihotri, and son-in-law AtulAgnihotri, visited the hospital. His second son-in-law, Ayush Sharma, was also seen visiting him. Several videos of the family arriving and leaving the hospital have surfaced on social media. In one video, Salman was seen exiting the hospital premises wearing a black t-shirt and a cap, surrounded by his security personnel. He kept a low profile and didn’t pause to interact with the media, and looked serious.
Social media, meanwhile, has been flooded with messages of concern as fans across platforms continue to express their worries and send heartfelt wishes for his speedy recovery. One fan reacted, “Get well soon, Salim sir.” Another expressed, “May Allah bless him with the fastest recovery & good health Ameen.” A third fan wrote, “Get well soon.” Many others shared that they are praying for his speedy recovery.
