Shreyas, who shares the screen with Kangana in their upcoming political thriller “Emergency,” said that Kangana would be suitable for Allu Arjun’s crime action thriller Pushpa’s third instalment.
Previously, Kangana Ranaut shared a poster of her upcoming film Emergency, where she played former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi during the Emergency period. On Wednesday, the film trailer was also launched. Shreyas Talpade, who plays Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the film at the trailer launch, said Kangana should be a part of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa’s third instalment.
Shreyas Talpade says Kangana should be in Pushpa 3.
The trailer of the film Emergency was released on August 14; a directorial by Kangana Ranaut, playing former India Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the political thriller. At the trailer launch, she was accompanied by co-stars Anupam Kher and Shreyas Talpade. During Q&A with the media, Shreyas jokingly said Kangana should be in Pushpa 3 and compared her to Pushpa’s character.
What did Shreyas Talpade say about Kangana?
Shreyas said while speaking to the media, “When Kangana approached me for the role of Atal Ji, I didn’t know how to react. I was confused and terrified, I was like ‘What did she just ask me to do?’ Should I take it up or just leave it? Not because she is boycotted in the industry, but due to nervousness.” He added, “This one time, I was rehearsing for a scene in the film. And it went quite well. But, during the take, I tried to put something extra from my side, but she came and whispered in my ear. She said, ‘Whatever you practiced during the rehearsals, kindly stick to that.’ The way she multi-tasks, if tomorrow they make the third part of Pushpa, I think they should cast Kangana Ranaut because ‘Jhukega nahi saala kabhi bhi (Won’t bow down, come what may).’”
The film releases on September 6.
