A video has recently been trending on social media, showing a man jumping onto his car to fill up with more fuel. A man was seen jumping on a car to fill up with more fuel.
Though the location of this viral video hasn’t yet been reported, it shows a man jumping on his car to fill up with more fuel. He appears to be shaking it at a petrol pump, claiming that this “car-shake theory” allows him to fill 7-8 litres extra fuel. This practice, often seen during panic buying, aims to release trapped air bubbles, but it is widely criticised as ineffective and dangerous.
More on the trick by the man to fill in more fuel, driven by fuel anxiety.
In the video, which has now gone viral on the internet, the man shakes his vehicle and jumps on it to create more space for filling up with more fuel. In the clip, a reporter is seen asking people at a petrol pump about the “fuel crisis.” She then interacts with a man who is standing at the back of his vehicle, jumping on it and shaking it. The reporter asks him, “Yehkaunsajugaadhai? Yehkistareeke se aap petrol bharwarahehain?” The man to this replies, “Sunnemeinaarahahai, kal diesel band horahahai.” The reporter then asks, “Yehtareeqakaamkartahai?” The man replies, “Jeebilkul, 7–8 litre kafarakpadtahai.”

Netizens react to the viral video.
One user reacted, “Shaking the rickshaw to fit extra 8 liters? Genius. Next, he’ll slap the TV to improve the signal and blow on the petrol nozzle for ‘extra power’. Voodoo physics kabaap.” Another expressed, “Modern fuel tanks have a built-in ventilation system that releases air and vapour as fuel enters, so shaking the vehicle only moves the fuel around and does not create extra space or allow more fuel to enter.” A third person joked, “Must be a married man!!!!😜” One more joked, “Dahejkigaadihogi.”
