A video has recently been doing the rounds on the internet, for all the right reasons. A man named Faizal, on a boat, can be seen rescuing the driver of a drowning SUV. The incident happened in Uttar Pradesh’s Pilibhit district, after a SUV plunged into a pond while its driver attempted to avoid hitting a child.

A chilling incident happened in Pilibhit district of Uttar Pradesh, where an SUV plunged into a pond while its driver attempted to avoid hitting a child. The vehicle was driven by Shubham Tiwari. His car slid into the water and began to sink rapidly, leaving him trapped and helpless. As per a video shared by journalist PiyushRai, Tiwari lost consciousness as the vehicle went under. A man who was on a boat saw the accident and immediately rushed toward the sinking SUV. Without a second thought, the man, identified as Faizal, leapt into the water and battled both the strong currents and the vehicle’s weight to reach the unconscious driver. The video by an eyewitness, which has now gone viral on the internet, shows Faizal struggling against the rising water as he pulls Tiwari free from the sinking vehicle. Rai on X wrote, “Shubham Tiwari, driving an SUV, landed in a pond while trying to save a kid on the road in UP’s Pilibhit. In a daring rescue, Faizal, on a boat, put his life on the line and showed exemplary courage to save Tiwari, who was drowning with the SUV. The victim was finally rescued and extricated out of the pond.”
