Unfortunately, a man at the Sitala Puja Mela in Lumding, Assam, fell off an adventure ride. Bubu Malakar fell from an amusement ride after the harness failed during operation. He was injured, which sparked chaos on the ground where the fair was held. Eyewitnesses rushed to help the man and transported him to the Lumding Railway Hospital for immediate medical attention. The police later confirmed that he survived the accident with injuries and was subsequently moved to a hospital in Hojai for further treatment, as per GPlus, a local media outlet. A police official from Lumdingconfirmed to GPlus, “The victim survived miraculously with some injuries,” adding that investigations are underway.
