Kamath and PM Modi engaged in a lively and candid conversation on the former’s podcast called People. Toward the end of the chat, Nikhil Kamath brought up a light-hearted topic about the viral “Melodi memes” featuring Modi and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. For the unversed, Melodi was a name coined by fans and followers of the two leaders, created from their names, Meloni and Modi. In a playful tone, Kamath said, “Mera favourite food, agar aap poochein, toh pizza hai aur pizza Italy se hai aur log kehte hain ki aapko Internet pe Italy ke baare mei bohot kuch milta hai, aap iske baare mei kuch kehna chahe ge” (If you ask me, my favourite food is pizza, and pizza is from Italy. People say there’s a lot about you and Italy on the Internet. Would you like to comment on it?)”
