A dramatic video of a Utah man crashing his car into a showroom went viral recently on the internet. The man did this after his return request was denied. Michael Murray, 35, on Monday, purchased what he believed to be a Subaru Outback from Tim Dahle Mazda Southtowne, as reported by news.com.au. However, he felt dissatisfied with the vehicle and thus wanted to return to the dealership, demanding a refund. As per the police statement, the dealership had sold the car “as is” and refused to accept the return.
Murray drove his car through the glass door of the showroom.
The viral video captures Murray driving his new car through the glass door of the showroom, shattering everything in his path. The video showed staff members running to safety. One of them can be heard saying, “Call the cops.” Murray then hurled abuses at the staff and walked away.
The man was arrested later.
Sharing the video on X, a user, Collin Rugg, wrote, “The man told the dealership that he would drive the car through the front door of the dealership if they didn’t let him return it. They told him that it was sold “as-is.” The man did exactly what he promised and drove the car through the front door. He was arrested on charges of felony criminal mischief and reckless endangerment.”
