The teacher claims to have received death and rape threats from a man who claims to be a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

A dance teacher from Uttar Pradesh recently complained to the police, alleging that she has been receiving death and rape threats from a man who claims to be a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The woman said that the man identified himself as a member of the dreaded gang and had been threatening her for several days.

The dance teacher claims the man is a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

The woman who lodged the complaint in Uttar Pradesh said that man who had been threatening her claimed he had “raped and killed 25 women and that she would be his next victim.” The woman is a popular dance teacher in Basti’s Kotwali area. She also shares dance tutorials on YouTube.

What did the Uttar Pradesh police say about the matter?

A senior police officer told PTI, “We have received a complaint from the dance teacher regarding the threats. Preliminary investigation into the matter is underway.” It is said that the man used several phone numbers to call and threaten her.

A similar call threatening case happened recently.

Vikram Singh, Shiv Sena’s Haryana in-charge, filed an online complaint with cyber police saying that he received a threatening call from a person who claimed to be from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. He claimed that the caller identified himself as Rohit Godara and demanded a share in his business, said the police. As per the complaint filed by Vikram Singh, he received a WhatsApp call from a UK number on November 11 at around 3 pm, where the caller said he was a member of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang and asked him for a share in his business.
