Virat Kohli gets greeted with a grand welcome, and massive fans cheer

Team India received a royal welcome on arrival at their hotel in Bhubaneswar. 

Team India players received a grand welcome at their hotel on Friday in Bhubaneswar ahead of their 2nd ODI against England. IND vs ENG 2nd ODI is set to take place at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on Sunday.

The atmosphere at the Biju Patnaik International Airportwas electric as fans and officials from the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) gathered to greet the stars of the Indian cricket team. Also, a special red carpet was rolled out at their team hotel, where a traditional folk dance performance was arranged to welcome the players. However, when cricketing icon Virat Kohli stepped onto the red carpet, the reception reached a fever pitch. Fans in numbers erupted in cheers and chanted his name while he acknowledged their love with a smile.

In a heartwarming moment, a senior hotel staff member greeted Kohli with a warm hug. The former Indian captain took a moment to converse with the staff member before making his way inside. India captain Rohit Sharma also received a rousing welcome from the fans. Before proceeding, he stopped briefly to share a few words with the same hotel staff member.

India and England are scheduled to have a net practice at Barabati Stadium on Saturday. England will train from 1 PM to 4 PM, followed by India from 5 PM to 8 PM.
