He looked in some mood yesterday when he announced himself with that score in Ahmedabad, behind Yuvraj Singh’s record off 12 balls achieved against England in that famous 2007 T20 World Cup match. Hardik smashed 5 fours and 5 sixes to finish with 63 off just 25 balls, taking India to a strong total of 231/5, along with a significant contribution from Tilak Varma with 73 runs.

Pandya has been open about his relationship with girlfriend Mahieka Sharma. After he drilled Corbin Bosch for a boundary off the last ball of the 17th over, he acknowledged his girlfriend in the stands, Mahieka Sharma, by blowing not one but multiple kisses. Overjoyed by the gesture and her boyfriend’s accomplishment, Mahieka couldn’t keep calm and was seen cheering wildly from the stands.

Hardik Pandya publicly acknowledged his relationship with Mahieka Sharma in October this year. Recently, he had even lashed out at the media for clicking pictures of Mahieka from an indecent angle.
