Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s car hit by BEST bus; Amitabh Bachchan’s security guard allegedly slapped the driver

A security guard of Amitabh Bachchan is reportedly under scanner after he allegedly slapped the BEST bus driver for hitting Aishwarya’s car.

An official said that on Wednesday, a BEST bus hit Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s car in Mumbai’s Juhu suburb. Nobody was injured in the accident. A video also circulated on the internet showing the high-end car with the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST)undertaking’s red bus behind it.

The video of the incident, which has been widely shared on the internet, shows the car, which didn’t suffer any major damage due to the accident, speeding off a while later. A BEST official said the bus was coming from the Juhu bus depot. The BEST official said that after the accident, a security guard from the residence of Amitabh Bachchanstepped out and allegedly slapped the bus driver. The official said, as per PTI, “The bus driver got down to see the damage suffered by the car. At this point, a bouncer from a nearby bungalow came out and slapped the driver.”

Police arrived at the spot.

The driver then called the police control room, and a team promptly arrived on the spot. The official added, “When the police arrived, supervisory staff from the bungalow apologised to the bus driver. The driver ended the matter at this point and steered the bus towards Santacruz suburban station. No complaint or FIR was registered.”

Initially, it wasn’t clear if Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was inside the car. However, the video caused concerns among fans. A source told India Today later, “People close to the actor have confirmed that she is absolutely fine and there was no ‘accident.’” The police also confirmed that no case was filed as the matter was resolved amicably among both parties on the spot.
