Since then, fans and people from the industry have sent her prayers, blessings, and well-wishes of great health. Today, Hina Khan posted a heart-wrenching video of hers on Instagram, where she is seen chopping off her hair as she undergoes chemotherapy for breast cancer. Against all hardships and odds, she is proving herself as a warrior in her battle with breast cancer. She recently also showed her chemotherapy session right after attending an award show.

The new video shows her determination to chop off her “crown” her hair.

Like a “warrior,” Hina Khan was seen in the video with a smiling face, chopping off her hair and calming her mother, who cried. In the video, she is determined to chop off her “crown” her hair and shares that she wants to chop them herself before they start falling off due to the radiation.

In a lengthy post on Instagram, she wrote, “You can hear my mother’s wailing voice in Kashmiri (blessing me) in the background as she prepared herself to witness something she never dared to imagine. Not all of us have the same tools at our disposal to manage heartbreaking emotions. To all the beautiful people out there, especially women who are fighting the same battle, I know it’s hard; I know for most of us, our hair is the crown we never take off. But what if you’re facing a battle so tough that you have to lose your hair—your pride, your crown? If you want to win you’ve got to take some tough decisions. And I choose to win.”
