PM Narendra Modi has departed for a 3-day visit to the US on Saturday morning to attend the Quad Summit.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi left on Saturday for a three-day visit to the United States to attend the Quad Summit. The mega event “Modi&US” will be held at the Nassau Veterans Coliseum in Uniondale, New York, on Sunday, September 2. Preparations are in full swing for Sunday, when he will interact with members of the Indian diaspora.

PM Modi has departed for the mega event Modi&US in New York. According to the news agency ANI, the event is at capacity and already sold out. More than 25,000 attendees registered for the 13,000 available seats. The event garnered over 500 community organizations from more than 40 states joining as “Welcome Partners” within the first 48 hours of the registration opening.
Preparation visuals for the mega event were shared on X.
News agency ANI posted on X a video of the preparations being done ahead of the Modi&US mega event. The post read, “US: Preparation visuals from Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in New York’s Long Island. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet the Indian diaspora here during a community event on September 22, during his 3-day US visit.” A key organiser mobilising volunteers for the Modi& US event, Ganesh Ramakrishnan told ANI, “The excitement is palpable and the sheer volume of people working together to make this event a success in really impressive.”
Modi&US will have two stages and over 400 artists.
As per ANI, the Modi&US event will feature two stages this year leading up to PM Modi’s keynote address. The main stage will showcase Echoes of India: A Journey of Art and Tradition featuring close to 400 nationally and internationally known artists, including Grammy award nominee Chandrika Tandon, STAR Voice of India winner and singing superstar Aishwarya Majumdar, Instagram’s Dancing Dad Ricky Pond, and singing sensation Rex DSouuza. The outer stage will see unique community-led performances by 100 performers, from classical to folk to funk. Preparations by 350 volunteers from 14 states are in full swing across various organizational areas. Over 150 media professionals, representing over 85 television, print, and online outlets, will also be present to cover the event.
PM Modi, who departed for the US this morning during the visit, will attend the Quad Leader’s Summit, participate in discussions at the United Nations, and engage in several high-level meetings.
