Autorickshaw driver says this about Saif Ali Khan.
The autorickshaw driver, Bhajan Singh Rana, who transported Saif Ali Khan from his residence building to Lilavati hospital, said that the actor had been bleeding from the neck and his white kurta had turned red. He narrated the sequence of events after he picked up the injured actor from outside his house. He said he didn’t recognise the bleeding actor and that it took around 8.10 minutes to reach the hospital. The auto driver on Friday told the reporters, “It was only when we reached the hospital gate that he called the guard to fetch a stretcher, saying he was Saif Ali Khan.”
The actor asked a guard to fetch a stretcher.
The auto driver said that a child accompanied the actor in the auto rick. He said, “He (Saif) walked into the auto. There was a seven-eight-year-old boy who also boarded the rickshaw. When we reached the hospital, he called out to the guard at the gate and told him: Please bring a stretcher. I am Saif Ali Khan,” adding that the auto reached the hospital at 3 am.
The auto driver said he didn’t take the fare amount from Saif Ali Khan after dropping him at the hospital. Rana said that after getting out of the vehicle, Saif walked independently and wasn’t scared. He said, “The actor sat by himself in the three-wheeler. He did not seem scared and appeared normal.” The doctors treating Saif at Lilavati Hospital said that the star walked into the hospital “like a lion.”
