Dinesh Karthik recently named two Indian cricketers who, according to him, can lead India to win T20 World Cups and the Champions Trophy.
Former Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik has praised two Indian cricketers and predicted something about them. Speaking on Cricbuzz, Karthik praised Riyan Parag and Hardik Pandya. India is playing against Bangladesh today, October 6, in the first T20I of their three-match series in Gwalior. The hosts will be without Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, two cricket icons who announced their retirement from the format after winning the T20 World Cup this year.
All eyes are on the middle order in IND vs BAN T20I match in Gwalior.
Everyone is looking forward to the middle order of Team India, including Hardik Pandya, Riyan Parag, and Rinku Singh, who will compete for the finisher role. While talking to Cricbuzz, Dinesh Karthik praised Parag and Pandya and felt that they should be the designated finishers.
Dinesh Karthik on Parag and Pandya.
He said, “For finishers, I have a lot of time for Riyan Parag and Hardik Pandya. Pandya as a finisher is again someone very special. He has won games. Yes, he has batted for Gujarat Titans slightly up the order in between IPL, I did think he enjoyed that role a lot more. But I think he will be looked at as the finisher.” He added, “India will do well with two strong finishers. Bat speed is needed, Riyan Parag has got pure muscle and a lot of skill in terms of hitting a ball. Add to the fact that they are proper all-rounders, India is going to be a different team here on in T20 World Cups and the Champions Trophy as well.”
