Fawad Khan to make a comeback in Bollywood

The Pakistani actor is said to return to Bollywood and star opposite Ridhi Dogra.

Per an exclusive report, Pakistani actor Fawad Khan will return to Bollywood soon. Earlier, there were talks about Fawad Khan making his comeback with Vaani Kapoor in a project after starring in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016). However, now it is reported that he may star opposite Ridhi Dogra in his comeback theatrical project.

An insider said, “The two will be cast in a rom-com drama; the supporting actors are yet to be cast,” adding that the film is at a very nascent stage. “The paperwork was only recently completed, and the duo have been cast as romantic interests. The director’s name is still kept under wraps.” The source further reveals that the shoot of the untitled project is yet to take off as Fawad and Ridhi are busy with their respective schedules. The insider said, “The shoot will begin by the end of this year. The makers plan to release the film by next year’s end or the beginning of 2026.”

Ridhi Dogra, 39, and Fawad Khan, 42, will not be shooting any scenes in India; all the shoots have been planned abroad. The source concluded, “The project will be shot in several locations, including New York (US) and London (UK). It matches the theme of their rom-com drama.”
