Amitabh Bachchan congratulated Team India in the first Test at Perth, but also criticized the commentary, alleging biasness against India’s medium pacers.

India emerged victorious against Australia in the first Test at Perth. This prompted congratulatory messages from one and all across the country and beyond. Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan too came forward to share his heartfelt congratulatory message for Team India for this resounding victory. However, he also alleged biasness in commentary against Team India’s medium pacers.

India celebrates the terrific victory against Australia in the first Test in Perth. Led by stand-in captain Jasprit Bumrah, on Monday, Team India set a target of 534 runs and bowling out Australia at 238, it emerged victorious. Amitabh Bachchan too took to social media among many others to congratulate Team India for the win with his warm greeting, but he also took a jab at the allegedly “biased commentary” during the match.

Amitabh Bachchan took to his Tumblr blog to express hi joy over Team India’s win in Perth. However, he also noticed how the commentary during the match allegedly undermined India’s medium pacers. Without taking any names, he took a dig at the same and wrote, “Bias commentary के बावजूद, ठोक दिया Australia को cricketमें(Despite the bias in commentary, Team India thrashed Australia in cricket.)”
