The star cricketer was seen with his wife Anushka Sharma in Mumbai attending Krishna Das Kirtan hours after India’s defeat in the 1st Test against NZ.
Following India’s New Zealand loss in the first Test, while most players left for Pune for the second Test starting October 24, Virat Kohli opted to spend time with his family in Mumbai. India recently lost to New Zealand in the first Test, where NZ went ahead and created a historic 8-wicket win in Bengaluru on Sunday.

Most Indian players have left for Pune, which will host the second Test against New Zealand starting October 24. However, Virat Kohli opted to spend time with his family and flew off to Mumbai. He attended Krishna Das Kirtan along with his wife, Anushka Sharma. Earlier in July, the couple attended a similar Kirtan in London after Kohli took a break from international cricket following India’s T20 World Cup title victory in June.
India will play the 2nd Test in Pune.
After the loss in the Bengaluru Test, India will be locking horns with New Zealand once again for the 2nd Test, which will be held in Pune starting October 24. India has played just two Test matches at Pune’s Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium so far. In their maiden appearance in 2017, India lost by 33 runs against Australia, one of the two defeats India incurred under Kohli’s 8-year Test captaincy. Two years later, the hosts won by an innings and 137 runs against South Africa.
